The Gran Teatro de Huelva receives today the family musical “The Wizard of Oz” a play adapted by Miguel Murillo. This show is part of the program of the Department of Culture of the City. It will be from 21:00.
“The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” is a fun piece for the whole family that has enjoyed great success at the Teatro Calderón in Madrid. The adaptation, by Miguel Murillo on known Fran Baum Lyman book, chronicles the adventures of a girl named Dorothy in the land of Oz. The Scarecrow, the man of sheets and the Cowardly Lion are inseparable friends in this show full of surprises, magic and fantasy.
This young girl want to go home, as the terrible storm has launched across the Rainbow. On his return he will have to face with his friends to the Wicked Witch of the West in the Emerald City and so I thought to recover lost: the brain, heart and courage.
The Grand Theatre is located near the Hotel Monte Conquero of Huelva.
Under the direction of Reguant Ricard, who has directed musicals as “Chicago” and “Grease” and the musical direction of Ferrand Gonzalez, Max prize last year for the musical “Stuck”, the choreography of Nuria de Córdoba, known for its participation in the latest film by Mario Casas, “I have wanted you”, the musical features the special collaboration of Santiago Segura.
